Odds versus Evens (Teams)
This is a teams game where the players split into evenly-numbered teams and add their scores up at the end of the game. The teams are chosen by the order that players are listed during the game - the odd-numbered players (first on the list, third on the list, fifth and seventh) form the Odds Team, the even-numbered players (second, fourth, sixth and eighth on the players list) form the Evens Team. The team that ends the game with the highest total of points wins!
Tops versus Bottoms (Teams)
This is a teams game where the players split into evenly-numbered teams and add their scores up at the end of the game. The teams are chosen by the order that players are listed during the game - the top half of the player list form the Tops Team, the bottom half of the player list form the Bottoms Team. WAGER YAHTZEE - submitted by Deadeye
All player begin with $100 cash (imaginary). Players could bet on either RHS (right hand side) or LHS (left hand side) to win more cash. Richest player by the end of the game wins. Minimum bet: $5; No limit on Maximum bet!
Valid LHS bets: ones, twos, threes, fours, fives, sixes (minimum 3 matching numbers)
Valid RHS bets: 3k, 4K, FH, LS, HS, YAHTZEE. (Note: Yahtzee scored in RHS bet doubles the wager; Yahtzee scored in LHS bet, if not placed in LHS, makes the bet NEUTRAL i.e. you neither win nor lose cash; the same rule applies to LHS BONUS AND YAHTZEE BONUS ROLLS)
CHANCE is neither LHS nor RHS. At any time placing score in CHANCE makes that bet neutral, i.e. you neither win nor lose cash. Correct bet wins you the amount you waged and you lose the same on a wrong bet. Game up now!!!
(Note: All players must declare their wager before making the first roll. Failure to do so will result in $20 fine and that roll counts as 'zero wager'. Also, any player who loses all cash before 13th turn must resign).

Sequence (odds and evens) - by birdie51
In this game every player must attempt to score into scoring positions in a given order. The players must start at the top of the scorecard, with ones, and then score in alternate spaces all the way down the scorecard. When the players reach chance, they should come back up the scorecard, filling in the spaces.
So, the turns would be scored like this: ones, threes, fives, three of a kind, full house, high straight, chance and then: low straight, four of a kind, sixes, fours, twos and yahtzee is played last.
If a yahtzee is rolled on the first roll ONLY of any given turn, then it may be held and scored out of sequence.
Any player who does not follow the sequence should resign. If the player chooses to continue then their sequence score will not count.
COPYCAT YAHTZEE - rules submitted by Tru2105, edited by Admin
- Before the host rolls their first roll, he must state where he will place his score after his turn
- He has to place in that scoring slot (even if he would score zero)
- Everybody else must also place their score in the same slot as the host (even if they would score zero)
- If anybody doesn't place their score in the scoring slot chosen by the host, then they must resign
- If anyone doesn`t place in that however, they are out of the game and must resign
- After everyone has finished their first turn, then the next player after the host should now decide which scoring slot will be used for the second turn
- This must be done before the host rolls
- Repeat this process throughout the game
- If you score a yahtzee then you may place your score in yahtzee, but then you must place your score in the slot you missed when it is the turn of everybody to place in yahtzee
- For example, if the picking player chooses to place scores in threes, and you roll a yahtzee on that turn, then you may place it in Yahtzee, but when the picking player chooses to place the scores in Yahtzee, then you must place your score on that turn in 'threes'
Daisy D`s One Roll - submitted by DaisyDomergue
Each player may only roll the dice once, so they should hold all dice for the second and third rolls, placing their score according to the first roll.
The winner is the player with the highest score at the end of the game.
Any player not following the rules is expected to resign.
LEADER
Leader is just like a normal game of Yahtzee, however, the winner is not necessarily the player who has the most score at the end of the game.
In Leader, you score one game-point for every time that you end a game turn in the lead, and the winner is the player with the most game-points at the end of the game.
For example, in a three-player game, playerA scores 30, playerB scores 25 and playerC gets 40 on high straight on their first turn. PlayerC is therefore in the lead and gains one game point.
In turn two, playerA scores 10, playerB scores 29 in four of a kind and playerC scores just 2. The totals at this time are PlayerA: 40, PlayerB: 49, PlayerC: 42. So PlayerB is leading, so gains one game-point.
The winner at the end of the game is the player who has the most game-points, i.e. the player who has been ahead at the end of the most number of turns.
MEGA YAHTZEE RULES - rules submitted by Tru2105, edited by Admin
- If you get a yahtzee, you get to pick someone else to eliminate from the game and that person has to resign
- Only "true" yahtzees count (including 2nd "bonus" yahtzees). Therefore, if you zero-out your yahtzee it doesn't count
- If you get two zeroes on your card, you have to resign
- At the end of each round, the lowest scoring player must resign
- The winner is the last player still in
Odds and Evens - submitted by xtc112
Your 1ST roll MUST be scored in an ODD box (1.3.5.3ok.fh.hs) Your 2ND roll in an EVEN box (2.4.6.4ok.ls.chance). You then continue to alternate between ODD and EVEN boxes. Yahtzees can be placed at ANYTIME. You cannot ZERO Yahtzee until the final roll.
Penalties: If you mistakenly score in an EVEN box on an ODD round (or vice versa) that score is deducted from your final total.
Leapfrog Yahtzee - rules submitted by PatriotLady
Leapfrog: we leap over alternate rolls!
So, we all score in ones, hop over twos on our next turns, then score in threes, then hop over fours and so on.
After scoring in fives, we hop over sixes and continue on three of a kind... when we reach the bottom of the right hand side, we continue from the open spaces on the left side and so on through the card.
The only exception is if you score a yahtzee, then you may place it in yahtzee but must then continue from where you left off on the next turn.
If in doubt during the game, please ask other players for advice. Any player who does not follow the rules should please resign from the game.
Reverse Sequence - submitted by Shipperbill
Starting with CHANCE players continue up the scoresheet in reverse with each successive roll. YAHTZEE is skipped in the sequence but a player scores it as yahtzee if he/she rolls one and returns to where he/she left off on the scoresheet. if a player scores out of sequence at anytime during the game......THEY MUST RESIGN.
Russian Roulette Yahtzee Rules
- If at any time you score "zero" on any roll you must immediately resign.
- After all players all gone but one, that player came resume playing the game normally, and is declared the winner.
RUSSIAN ROULETTE SEQUENCE - submitted by R Francis
- Each player must score their roles in sequence. This means you are rolling for "Ones" on your first set of roles, "Twos" on your second set of roles, and continuing on until your last role for "Chance"
- If at any time you score "zero" on any role you must quit the game immediately. Do not place a score out of rotation at this point, as this could potentially place you higher in the final rankings and would be unfair.
- If at anytime you score a Yahtzee, you can use the Yahtzee and then return back to the rotation. For example: Player one is rolling for the "Threes" space and rolls a yahtzee. Player one would score 50 in the Yahtzee and on the next roll return to the "Threes", not the "Fours".
- If at anytime you score a second Yahtzee, you can use this in the number that corresponds to the Yahtzee, Three of a Kind, Four of a Kind, or use a Yahtzee Joker.
- After all players all gone but one, that player came resume playing the game normally, and is declared the winner.

VOLLEYBALL RULES - created by ToeKnee
All starting players should split into teams.
First roll determines who serves; each player completes their turn. The team with the highest total score for the first round of turns wins the first serve.
Scoring: a team can only score points if they have the serve for that turn.
Each turn all players score on their yahtzee card and scoring is calculated once all players have had a turn. Each team adds up their score for that turn and the team with the highest total score a point for that turn if they were serving, or if they were not serving, they win the serve back.
If one single player ever scores more in his turn than the entire of the opposing team put together, then this is an ACE and is worth two points if that team was already serving.
In case of a tied match, the team's total score from their yahtzee scorecard is used as the tiebreaker
TK`s Exponential Yahtzee - submitted by ToeKnee
This plays like a regular game but the points for each turn are multiplied by the turn number. So, the score for the second turn is multiplied by two and added to the total. Therefore, scoring high straight on the fourth turn would be worth 4*40 (160) before being added to the total.
The player with the highest total score wins.
